This includes every major medical device brand: BD, NovoFine, Ypsomed, Terumo, Owen Mumford, B. Braun, and HTL-Strefa. Pens are intentionally designed around this industry-standard geometry so researchers can source needles locally without lock-in to a single supplier.

GAUGE
32G is thinner than 31G which is thinner than 30G. Thinner needles cause less tissue disruption and less injection discomfort, but require slightly more plunger pressure to push solution through. For peptide research at typical protocol volumes (<0.5 mL), 32G is ideal.
LENGTH
A 4 mm needle reaches the subcutaneous layer in the vast majority of research contexts without risk of accidental intramuscular delivery. Longer needles (6–8 mm) are only preferred when the research protocol specifically calls for deeper placement. Never use intramuscular needles (10 mm+) with ORYN pens.
